How to Eat an Apple

The older children will grab a piece of fruit or a vegetable any time they want a snack. We go through 40 lbs or more of just fruit a week, but we eat very little junk food. The two little girls normally ask me to get them their food. After a long, hard day at Jockey's Ridge, Hannah (3) was very hungry. Not wanting to wait, she opened the fridge herself, grabbed an apple, and proudly showed Clint and I she was taking care of her own hunger. She was very pleased with herself as she gobbled down the apple.

Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

Update: We found out this was being viewed by people in Vietnam who were interested in learning how to "eat apples." We hope Hannah taught them how to enjoy them!
