Homeschool: Free Food Preservation Curriculum

One of our very large freezers froze up again as it does every year around this time. I own three of the same model, and this was the only one that kept having issues. It is now destined to become an egg incubator. Thanks to my awesome adult children, no food was lost. What Brandon and Amanda could not move into the other freezers filled a huge cooler. You know the kind that is about as wide as a truck tailgate? I worked nonstop for three days preparing and pressure canning meat. While reviewing times for my pressure canner, I came across this nice curriculum.

The National Center for Home Food Preservation's curriculum is a pdf with printable posters for teaching food preservation techniques. It covers different techniques of preservation
