Making Vinegar

IMG_0863

When I dehydrate apples, I save the peelings to make vinegar. I pour in a little mother from a past vinegar and a little sugar, and it gets the batch off to a fast start. I make mine in food safe 5 gallon buckets and keep it covered with a cloth in place. After the process is over, I dry the peelings to feed to our poultry in the winter months. We get dried apples, vinegar, and food for our birds.

Young wives and mothers, you can nearly double your husband's income if you don't mind the work. The Titus 2:3-5 minded woman doesn't simply stay at home. She has the ministry of looking after the well-being of those in her household. She also practices stewardship daily as she manages resources for her family and the glory of the Lord.
