This black snake was eating rabbits for months. I don't like killing wildlife, but this one kept causing big losses over a few months. Amanda measured it three times...6'3".
Clint can tell gender on snakes and said this one was a male.
We found him eating a bunny. Clint had to tug the five week old kit out of the snake's grip. The bunny appeared lifeless but still had pink tissues under its lips. So, we resucitated it with quick CPR puffs and ten minutes of vigorous rubbing to stimulate breathing and circulation. It survived but has a limp.
