An idea to help if someone you love works in the heat...

When Clint works his second job on the weekends, it can get very, very hot. Recently, he had to pull two twelve hour days in over 100°F conditions. The workload was unusually physically demanding and very fast paced. He came home exhausted. I had his chair ready with his shorts, his big cup of ice water, two cold peaches, and two cloths with ice cold water. I had a fan blowing on him and an ice bath for his feet. After asking the children to leave so Clint could change his clothes where he was, I helped him out of his sweat drenched clothes. Then I wiped him down with the cold cloths. He was so appreciative and felt better very quickly.
