In a large family, space is a premium. We really feel that most in a refrigerator! It can be hard getting food for a larger than normal sized family in an average sized fridge! As we use down the box of 15 dozen eggs, kept in our second fridge, the air space in the box is wasted. When we cut the box down, it leaves the eggs vulnerable to breakage. Years ago, we found another way to regain unused space and keep the eggs protected. You can use this idea for boxes in other rooms in the house.
