Article: Rules for Mothers-in-Law

Ten Rules for Mother-in-Laws By Elisabeth Elliot

This article contains wisdom that can make a new addition part of a stronger family. What a blessing Mrs. Elliot must have been as a mother-in-law! I especially appreciated the advice in 3,4,5,6, and 9.

This life is hard and most young people have had about all they can take thrown at them. They need a dose of gentleness and grace not more condescension and criticism. Remember you only see part of the whole.

You will either choose to build or tear apart. If you consciously or unconsciously tear down, everyone will lose a great deal, but the one who will lose the most might be you.
