After our friend Mack did some bush hogging out back, we found these lovely flowers. Upon checking with some friends, I learned they are wild roses. Although they are an invasive species, I am going to put them to work to help camouflage our turkey pen. The thorns should give the turkeys some added protection from predators, and I will enjoy the fragrant flowers every year. I might train some as an espalier in the peafowl pen too.
