Psalm 56:8 Record my lament; list my tears on your scroll--are they not in your record.
Psalm 139:3 You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.
Luke 12:6-7 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
Deuteronomy 31:8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

When my children were infants, people would start to guess what was wrong when they cried. "She's hungry! He wants a blanket! He has to be teething!" They were usually wrong. However, as fallible as I am, I often KNEW exactly what my babies wanted because I watched over them all of the time. I knew if they had slept well the night before, or if they had not eaten well at the last meal. I knew if they had a favorite toy that was missing or if they disliked bright flourescent lights in stores. I knew what my babies needed because I paid attention to the things in their day to day life.
I love the verses I shared above because they show us how very intimate God's love for us it. He cares about the details in our lives even something seemingly insignificant and ever changing as the number of hairs on our head.
I use to worry that I'd miss God's leading until I realized that He knows exactly how to speak to my heart and lead me in the right direction because He not only made me but watches over me so closely. I am not going to miss His leading or misunderstand which way to turn because He will make sure I won't. He knows me. He knows what I need. Fear and confusion might be around me, but it isn't around the One Who loves me and is leading me. All I have to do is keep my mind soaking in His Word so I will recognize Him and His ways while I keep my heart willing to obey. Because I know He pays attention to the details of my life, I trust in His ability to lead me to what is best for me.
James 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
Psalms 143:8 Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; For I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul.
