It use to be we took our children to the library or on educational outings. These days, we are talking to human resources of potential future employers about what degrees and experience they like to see. We are also talking to realtors.
We have been spending time with Amanda, 23, as she hunts for a house to purchase. She has enough money saved and the income to purchase one, but she has not found one she likes yet. So, we'll keep looking!
She said her goal is to find something in the next year. I am savoring the moments left of having her live at home as I reflect on how the time spent together changes as children grow.
