Green Thumb Ministry Opportunity

A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in. -Green Proverb

Food prices are constantly on the rise. I encourage you to plant fruit and nut trees, berry bushes, and grape vines now to help feed future generations. I am doing that now and hoping it will benefit my children's future families. Brandon knows this is a goal of mine, so he purchased me cherry trees for Mother's Day.

You can also plant more than you need in a garden and bless a family near you this summer and fall.

If you have a fruit tree that is producing fruit that you can not use, offer it to someone who will be thankful for it. Our family was blessed with bushels of pears and made good use of them.

Our family has also been blessed by neighborhood/co-worker hunters who have filled our freezer with venison cuts.

These weren't things we had to have, but we were grateful for them and saw them as part of God's provision for our family.
