When we lose ourselves in Christ—in the sheer immensity of who He is—when we realize we have nothing good except what we receive from Him, God will save us from pride, and its step-sister, pettiness. When we see God as He really is and ourselves as we really are, pride is simply unthinkable. Pride is concerned with WHO is right. It points fingers, assigns blame, and keeps the division going in our churches, families, friendships, and marriages.
Humility is concerned with WHAT is right. "Let's drop it and honor God in our relationship."
