This works! We did it with a large wine bottle we received from a restaurant. I am not sure where Clint put the bottle, but if I find it, I will post a picture. You can make many different things from the bottles like greenhouses, self-watering planters, pencil holders, vases, lamps, candle holdes, etc, etc. It was very easy!
