Today, the classroom instruction was far below Brandon's skill level. So, the teacher put Brandon in charge of teaching students as they learned how to repair modems. This gave Brandon experience teaching in addition to the instruction he has given his siblings in our homeschool.
One of the reasons homeschooled students do well in a college setting is that they learn to self-teach. Brandon has self-taught himself all of the advanced skills he knows about computers. At 15, he was way ahead of where Clint and I could teach him, so we encouraged him forward by purchasing the required textbooks and by asking questions of our friends who work in tech support.
Brandon, Dad and I are very proud of you for your character, good manners, hard work ethic, self drive, and skill level. We are beyond thrilled to see how well you are doing in your college classes. Remember to continue to give the glory to the Lord for all you do because He gave you your mind and resources. Keep Him as your focus always, and obey the commands in His Word. We love you very much.
Micah 6:8 “He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?”
