May God pour out His blessings on all of you reading this!
I want to challenge you to hold all of your thoughts accountable with:
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8
It does not matter what anyone else thinks of you or says about you. It does not matter if you are misunderstood or ignored. It does not matter how your day has started or turned out. It does not matter how you feel about doing it. We, as Christians, are commanded to think on those things in Philippians 4:8.
When you obey that verse, watch how God changes your attitude towards others. Watch how your speech and outlook changes. Watch how He uses you to build others up with words He leads you to say. Watch how He reveals to you what you were missing. Do it consistently, and you will see changes in your attitudes, thoughts, words, and actions.
Think on good things, and speak (or text/write) life into the lives of others. We all need encouragement, and we all need prayer. We are more alike than we are different.
You, dear reader, are loved. You are loved by me, and I hope you are seeing Jesus through me. I pray God works in your life in mighty ways and turns your heart towards Him. I pray for your hurts to be soothed over and for all of your hard places to be made soft and moldable by His Hands. I pray that where you lack, you are blessed with an abundance. I ask God to protect you and keep you from all types of harm. May your eyes be opened so you can see how you are loved more than you can imagine by a living God who has done so much for you! He has good things in store, but you have to let go of the things that are keeping you tied up in life. Your own stubbornness and holding onto sin will keep you from receiving blessings God wants you to have. Repent of your sins daily so you heart will remain soft for God.
Thank you, Brian, for your life giving, encouraging, and very timely words while I was feeling defeated this week. "Eyes on the prize!"
Thank you, Clint, for encouraging me to keep doing what I love!
