We had an abandoned newborn right at the same time the high fever hit me.

The baby was born a few days before 2/14 and had to be bottle-fed starting on the 13th. The buckling has a heart on his back. Penny was curious and a bit jealous of it being between my feet.
Update: We were able to put this baby back on his mama after about 36 hours. The mama's udder was hurting her enough from the built-up milk that she readily let him nurse. Mama is best, but sometimes we have to work with the creatures to get things right.
