Joshua was upset that he damaged our gate. We had to install it years ago to keep the curious from driving down our lane. We'd find people in our driveway or front yard at all hours of the day and night.
I told him not to worry about the gate because his safety was what was important to his dad and I. I also told him God had already provided for this moment.
Amanda had found one on Craigslist that was brand new a few weeks earlier. It was free and nicer than the one we have. We just need time for Clint to install it.
