I just wanted to take a moment to show one of the ways God provides for our family. This may seem like a small thing to some, but it happens to us over and over and over. This week, I ordered 5 4 lb bags of oranges (on sale) for our grocery order. They did not have the 4 lb bags in stock, so they gave us 8 lbs for the 4 lb price. I received 40 lbs of oranges for half of the sale price...or 20 lbs for free, however you want to look at it We gave away as many as we could and what our family cannot eat fresh will be dehydrated for snacking later.
In the last few weeks, we've also been given free, unexpected 5 count 70 ounce bags of dry milk, 75 lbs of rice, 4 count 40 ounce jars of honey, and 72 count half gallon jars... all directly from companies...all free.
When we followed God's leading to surrender our reproductive lives to the Lord, people were so doom and gloom with their warnings and fears. Only the very few strong Christians in our lives encouraged us to follow where God was leading.
We testify that God did not fail us where He led us. Clint's pay has steadily increased over the years to meet our needs. Many times our friends will think of us and gift us with something. Receiving free items has and continues to happen over and over in our lives. For a few years, we received free clothes, supplements, gourmet and organic food items, electronics, toys, household items, sporting goods, and more directly from vendors. Many weeks, we'd receive 45-75 boxes of items a week. That went on for about 3.5 years. That opportunity came to us seemingly out of the blue. We know God sent it our way. That's just a tiny bit of what we have seen in our journey with the Lord.
We are very, very thankful and want to give a testimony that if He leads you somewhere, HE WILL PROVIDE! Wherever He leads, you can safely follow. Trust in the Lord is never misplaced.
