Absolutely No Flex

noflex

Before someone freaks out...Clint was pulling up to back up to change his angle of approach to cross a ravine and pulled up a tad too far. There was absolutely no danger involved, and it looks much scarier than it actually was.

I love this picture!
This is our suburban.
I crawled up and down the sides of a large ravine so I could take pictures for our other children as he crossed. Amanda, Emily, and Hannah were with us on this trip.

Absolutely No Flex.
This is why we don't go rock crawling with the suburban. That's what the 4-Runner is for!
I had to share this picture because some of our 4WD friends wanted to see it after I described what it looked like.
They've been trying to get us to join them in other states...
which if all goes well...
we will be doing soon.

For us, it's never been about showing off what we own or what our truck can do.

It's about getting way out there to enjoy the beautiful scenery and get some peace and quiet. It's about unwinding and relaxing. It's about talking with and enjoying one another as we travel. We've been enjoying our short off-roading retreats from civilization for 38 years now. We combine it with hiking and overlanding which helps extend our outdoor adventures.

We've also had the suburban on two wheels...driver front and passenger rear. It was teetering back and forth which was pretty neat to feel from the inside.

The 4 Runner...well...Clint has done some crazy things in that.
