A friend in Lebanon says she has been told to expect earthquakes there due to the horrific events in Turkey and Syria. In fact, they have felt some of the quakes that affected those two countries in Lebanon. She may have to flee on foot with her children in winter because sometimes her parking garage is frequently blocked.
She reports that there will be little if any, help from the government. Lebanon is in ruins as it is...no water, warnings of a potential cholera outbreak, no power, banks seized their money, etc. So she has to figure things out on her own.
