Bethany found this small pine cone full of sprouted mushrooms on a walk along the trails on our place. She thought it was cool and brought it to show me. I like it too and am glad she enjoys sharing things with me.
I've observed that people who can see and appreciate the details in nature are usually the first to see when a loved one is hurting. They tend to pick up on those subtle shifts sooner.
