Joshua had an eventful morning! Jacinta, co-worker of his and Caleb's, slipped and broke her ankle. She stepped on cardboard boxes that slipped under her shoe. The break is very bad with two broken bones and torn ligaments and tendons. Her foot was hanging and facing in the wrong direction.
She will not be able to walk on it for a year according to her doctor. She is in the hospital waiting for surgery.
Joshua heard another employee scream when she saw Jacinta's foot. He said having a large family helped him take control and get people moving to get her help. He had her loaded in a vehicle and at the hospital within 30 minutes. A truck was being unloaded and hallways had to be cleared of many boxes, so I feel they did really well especially since the trip to the ER took 7 minutes. They had to move her very slowly due to the unstable injury and pain. They used an office chair to transport her to the truck.
Jacinta is 26 years old and was moving into her first apartment in 11 days. Please pray she is let out of the lease.
