I first learned about the tree collards last year and decided to take the plunge and try my hand at growing them this year. I love raising heritage breed livestock and growing heirloom, nearly extinct, or unusual vegetable plants. We are losing far too much that might prove to be beneficial to future generations. I am thankful I am in a position to help preserve plant diversity.
