Article: Growing plants from kitchen scraps

I'm beat. 12 hours of hard work in the sun... I am the good kind of tired!

I was reviewing how to grow parsnips and came across this:


If they are in stock locally, I am going to buy a bag of parsnips and plant the tops of one since they will regrow and go to seed much like the tops of carrots. If that works, the plants should make seeds next year...and then I can get a perennial bed of those going.
