Riots

Some of our friends who live in other places in the US and overseas have shown concern for our family regarding the riots.

The place closest to us with violent riots is Richmond which is approximately an hour from us. One friend's son is there protecting his business. There were 233 people arrested in one night. Richmond leaders say the people doing the violence are not from there, and they are being brought in from elsewhere and have ties to particular organizations. Richmond leadership says these people coming into their city are very well organized. There is clearly more to what is happening.

There was a mostly peaceful gathering in Hampton which is about 45 minutes from us. Four people were arrested for their behavior.

Our family was aware that mass riots were planned and coming to the US three years ago. Think about that and what it means.

If you don't already have an idea of what is going on, ask God to reveal it to you. Throw off preconceived ideas, and look for the truth no matter where it leads. Listen carefully with new ears; watch with new eyes.

As I have said many times, put the full Armor of God on, and pray unceasingly for good to triumph over evil in this fierce battle. Pray for the blinders to be lifted and for UNITY in God's people and those who love our nation. Pray that every plan of the enemy backfires. There is no need for fear, but there is a need for action. Don't be so easily divided from others by the schemes of the enemy.

Think through your location and situation and prepare accordingly. Practice situational awareness. Keep a bag packed with essentials..food, water, a change of clothing, a basic first aid kit, whatever you may need if you can't get home or need to leave your car. My family has done this for years. The bags may never be needed, but if they are, they can be invaluable. (We've used items out of our bags many times.)

For those who are concerned: Our family is safe. We are well prepared mentally, physically, and most importantly, spiritually. Love to all from all.
