Two Young Hunters

pickuptruck

This past Saturday, Clint and I woke up early to do a little off-roading. Locally, we have close to 10,000 acres we are allowed to explore with our truck and through hiking. I wanted to look for wildlife and see the pretty foliage, so off we went.

Deep in the woods, we came across two young men who were hunting. They had hiked in about a mile. We stopped to speak with them for a few minutes. The young man was concerned we'd not be able to get around his truck where they had parked it, so he handed us his keys and told us we could move it.

When we got to the truck, we were astonished to see his wallet and other valuables which were inside of that big ole jacked-up truck with the loud exhaust. We moved the truck leaving everything untouched. We put his keys where he told us. I enjoyed the nature time, but it was very refreshing and encouraging to meet those young down-to-earth and trusting souls.

We left two gospel tracts inside for the young men.
