Last night, two of our children were invited to hang out with a group of friends. Our two joined the others in attending worship at a local church. Then they all went out to eat, visited a park, and decided on going to a movie. They were to hang out at a local beach afterward.
My children had not heard of the movie, so they did not know what it was about. That movie became very vulgar. Our children let the others know that movie was not something they wanted to watch. Their friends refused to leave.
Clint and I are very thankful that our children left their friends behind rather than compromise their values.
