Several years ago, I had a friend murdered by her husband.
I have also had a few friends put in the hospital by violent spouses or boyfriends.
A friend around Amanda's age was kidnapped, tied, kept locked in a shed, burned with cigarettes, and much more by an evil young man who is now in prison. She realized her poor judgement but did not know how to tell her parents. She stayed too long and suffered physically and mentally.
One day, I hope to share some of they stories happening around us for the lessons they can provide.
