I think we grow too calloused to the state of this fallen world and too blind to our own deceptive hearts. If you are a Christian, this sad fact should grieve your spirit and cause you to cry out for revival and renewal in God's people. Illumination helps us find our way out of dark places. My candle is pleading before the Throne of Grace and also in creating awareness hoping for unity in spiritual warfare against this form of apathy in the Christian life.
 
Dear Reader, will you join me in prayer that Christians wake up, realize who we are in Christ, become united, and renew their commitment to be soldiers of the living King? Is that a prayer you can pray with me? This world offers so many distractions, and it is easy to focus on the wrong things. No matter how young you are, time is precious. We each only get a certain amount to do all we can for Christ before our opportunity on this earth is gone.
