Little Jo has grown some neat looking leg spurs. As every guest is quick to notice, she has grown much larger. I have to carry her with two hands now.
I read how people killed tortoises and turtles "for fun" when I was a girl, and pledged I'd always be their helper. Little Jo came from a soldier who acquired her at birth, had to leave suddenly for duty, and could not take her with him. She is currently in a growth spurt and eats constantly. She can eat a gallon sized bag of vegetables every two to three days. She has some very interesting behaviors developing.
