- the young man, who gave into sin and committed this awful act, to come to know the redeeming power of Jesus God's redemption and grace can cover this too.
- the murderer's family and friends and that people will be kind
- that those who saw and worked the scene are mentally and emotionally healed

- for the salvation of the young people surrounding this event
My heart grieves at the news, but I know God is in control. He has a plan and is never surprised by the devastation of sin. I am so thankful He does not give up on us. Even when we are at our worst, He still loves us. What a beautiful thing His love is and what a wonderful calling we have to demonstrate it to others.
